Last Saturday was a pretty momentous occasion for me, one I’ve been tirelessly planning for the past 9 months!  Project #RenovateDING is (nearly) complete, and am officially all moved in—well, despite my storage unit looking like a hoarder’s paradise…haha! Although I still have a lot of unpacking and decorating to do to make it FEEL like home, it’s already a dream to be living in this house!

Things are moving along fairly quickly now at the #RenovateDING casa! I finally got around to ordering my new letterbox mailbox, countertops have been ordered, and kitchen cabinets installed with pretty new hardware. I got really excited when it came time to picking out the pendant lighting for over the kitchen island, because I knew I wanted them to be the furthest thing from plain! Finding the perfect mailbox for your house is kind of like finding the perfect outfit for a job interview! Besides the landscaping, it is typically the first thing people see when they arrive at your home. So, my design goal for this project was to find a mailbox with a mix of modern and classic styles to perfectly complement my little 1957 ranch-style home.
